What is Financial Coaching?

People are emotional about themselves and their money. There is never a one stop solution for meeting all client’s goals. Each client is unique and every action plan is tailor made.

At Success Focus we listen to our clients and gauge an understanding into their    history and approach to money. An approach to life often reveals the answers and lays the foundation for financial coaching.

By understanding what our client’s need we form a relationship that goes a long way, by being part of their financial decision.

What is Financial Coaching?

A Success Focus we empower our clients through healthy and open discussion to visualise their personal financial landscape.  We help our clients visualise the difference between needs and wants. Knowing the problem is almost solving the problem itself.

A plan that does not meet the emotional needs of an individual or family is bound to fail or get discarded. At Success Focus we believe in creating a set of implementable actions rather than preaching or moralising to our clients about their financial well-being.

We keep your clients focused on what is important to them, confront financial fears and eradicate irrational fears attached to their relationship with money.

Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire and begin at once”

Life Coach and Business Mentoring

I am a combination of a painful past, a great present and an even greater future.   I am a mother of two teenagers with life experience beyond my years. I am a firm believer of the past not having much influence on who we are now and who we are capable of becoming, therefore I choose not to dwell on my history.

I have worked in the legal environment in excess of 10 years with experience in corporate law in the private and public sector. In law we are usually expected to find solutions to every problem, I therefore believe that becoming a coach was a natural progression for me. Knowing business culture definitely gives me an edge when it comes to life coaching executives and project coaching. That being said I believe that every person is unique and has their own way in which they accept and process information. I combine my experience in the legal field with my skills and tools as a coach to help my clients achieve their goals as ceo’s, directors and managers quicker and more efficiently.

Spiritual is what we become as a result of our experiences on the inside, and it is definitely not interchangeable with the word religion, as religion is what comes from the outside.   As a spiritual coach I choose to believe that greatness lies within each and every human being.   I live by the maxim that “if faith in ourselves had been more extensively taught and practised, I am sure a very large portion of the evils and miseries that we have would have vanished.” My aim therefore is to see every individual achieve their highest potential.

By virtue of the fact that we are human we have relationships, some fail to make it into our present and we cannot live without others. There are people in this world that will not like you no matter what you do, yet there are others who would love you despite all your imperfections. Sometimes we do not know who we are, yet we expect others to understand us, we place unfair expectations on others and forget to check if we are meeting those expectations ourselves. I recently came across this quote by Charles F Glassman “Before you discover your soulmate you must first discover your soul” this definitely resonates with who I am.

Due to all the failures and tragedies that I personally experienced and overcame I am now on a path to help others overcome the challenges they are experiencing. I believe that my purpose on earth is to bring about a sense of pride, fulfilment and possibility to everyone I have the good fortune of meeting. Through my writing, public speaking and coaching I wish to advocate the message that anything is possible, all you have to do is BELIEVE.

Dedicated to those who have failed a grade or an exam and are feeling ashamed or angry

After making you, God broke the mould, that is how special you are. Todays piece is dedicated to those who have failed a grade or an exam and are feeling ashamed or angry to go back to school or try again. I realise that it cannot be easy to face those same students that made fun of you last year or to go back to a grade when all your friends have moved on. Yes, it is hard, but nobody said life was going to be easy.

Someone said “fail as early as possible”, I never understood that but I believe I do now. Some people sail through their schooling years with ease and sometimes through University too. They do not know what it means to go through the pain that comes with failing early on in life. These very people that did so well early on life, did not have the opportunity to build up their strength. For those who failed early on in life, they have become stronger and possess that courage and perseverance it takes to handle any challenge that they may face. Failing early in life is actually beneficial to the soul, it equips you with all the skills you will need to overcome the obstacles you will face at a later stage.

A learned man was once asked by a disciple “Sir what is worse than losing everything?” the learned man responded “ It is worse to lose hope that you will regain everything again”. This is the essence of life, never give up hope. After winter comes summer, and the trees go from bare and lifeless to green. Nature is imparting knowledge to you, look and listen. You are now in the winter of your life, and just as the seasons change your life too will change. All you have to do is remain calm and never give up on yourself.

After every storm there is a rainbow, but without the storm you will never see the rainbow. Remain open to challenges, as these challenges can turn into opportunities for you to become a stronger. Start to look for the good in every situation, and you will and must find it.

Having thousands of friends on facebook can never compensate

Why is it that so many people struggle to find and maintain harmonious relationships, and choose to be single instead? Whatever the reason, neither Science nor Religion dictates that man should live his life alone, infact both promote the union of marriage.

At the rate the world is moving, finding time for communication or anything that does not include a technical gizmo can be a challenge. You would think that with Google and Wikipedia finding the solution to all our problems would be simpler and faster.  I have realised that knowledge alone doesn’t make you a better person, it is what you do with that knowledge that makes a difference.

Experience has taught me that mastering micro-expressions or personality types in theory means nothing if you do not take the time to interact with people on a humane level.  The only way you can do this is by communicating, so for those people who believe that they can make do with social media, they are sorely mistaken.

Having thousands of friends on facebook can never compensate for one real life friend.  Someone to share your innermost fears with, to act crazy with or cry with when your dog dies.  And that is the reality of life.  No matter how far we travel in the technical world it cannot compensate for our emotional needs which everybody has by virtue of being human.

According to Hinduism there are 4 primary reasons why people should get married, i.e to fulfil their dharma (duty) , artha (possessions), kama (physical desires) and moksha (ultimate spiritual release) together.  It may be true that one or other pursuits can be obtained as a single person, but in order to live a complete life Hinduism encourages marriage.

In Christianity marriage is regarded as Holy, Jesus Christ himself stated “that God had created mankind as male and female and that in marriage the two will become one flesh.  So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate”

How Relationship Coach Help You

Marriages that last a lifetime need more than just love to stand the test of time, and external influences. It requires a deep understanding of ones self, values and goals before you can understand a spouse.  If your aspirations are towards finding a soul-mate, you must first discover your own soul.
